Opportunity to feedback on new design for Blackboard

As part of the re-design process, the University will be surveying staff from 1 to 10 May.
As part of the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of Blackboard, the University is planning to refresh the Blackboard user interface.
The drivers behind this redesign are:
- to improve Blackboard’s usability;
- to enhance the new features introduced as part of the recent upgrade; and
- to present a cleaner and more modern look and feel.
As part of this process, the University will be surveying staff from 1 May through 10 May 2013 to collect their feedback.

The new design will be implemented towards the beginning of July 2013 (the exact date is still to be confirmed).
Student input on the Blackboard re-design has already been captured. A student consultation was carried out in March and this feedback has already been incorporated into the proposed designs found in the staff survey.
