Iqbal Ahmed OBE, founder of Seamark, is speaking at the next Entrepreneurs@Manchester event. Manchester based Seamark is one of the Europe’s leading processors, exporters and distributors of frozen food

Iqbal was born in Sylhet in Bangladesh, before coming to the UK at the age of 15. Today, he has built Seamark into a business with a turnover of almost £60 million, supplying seafood to some of Europe’s largest retailers including the supermarkets Carrefour and Costco.

Iqbal also set up Vermilion restaurant and the Cinnabar nightclub in Manchester and features in the Sunday Times Rich List as one of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs.
