IT login issues - RESOLVED

Some staff and students are reporting issues accessing some University IT services

This is affecting access to services such as Blackboard, My Manchester, Support Centre Online and more.

In most cases, IT login will work after a number of attempts. 

We'll update you  as soon as we have any more information.

Update 1 - 12:45 on 24 September

While we've carried out work to improve performance of the IT login service, we're still investigating the issue as our highest priority until it's fixed.

In the meantime, the same advice as earlier still applies if having login problems - many people can log in after a few attempts.

Update 2 - 14:51 on 24 September

We've made some changes to restore service. IT logins should now be working as normal.

However, anyone experiencing any IT issues should telephone the IT Support Centre straight away on 0161 306 5544 so a support colleague can investigate.

This will be the final update on this topic unless the issue reoccurs.
