Exploring Teamwork in the Eighteenth-Century Concerto Grosso

As the culmination of a two-day intensive workshop on historically informed performance, guided by Peter Holman MBE, co-founder of The Parley of Instruments, together with Baroque strings specialist Judy Tarling, members of the University of Manchester Baroque Orchestra treat us to an exploration of the eighteenth-century concerto grosso in period performance. The programme will include some of the best-loved ensemble concerti by Handel, partnered by works by Stanley and Manfredini.
