15 Jan 2025
Join our own strategy experts as they challenge Professor Duncan Ivison 1-2pm on Friday, 24 January

All-colleagues are invited to attend a Townhall meeting with Professor Duncan Ivison, who will be joined by:
- Professor Ken Mcphail, Head of Alliance Manchester Business School
- Professor Mark Healey, Professor of Strategic Management, Alliance Manchester Business School
- Dr Mabel Sanchez Barrioluengo, Senior Lecturer in Science Policy and Innovation, Alliance Manchester Business School
Phase 1 of the Manchester 2035 strategy development process is wrapping up, and we’ve listened carefully to your ideas and concerns. Now, as we move into Phase 2—where we’ll be reviewing and testing our proposals—this special townhall is your chance to find out whether we really are on the right track.
Why are we crafting this new strategy? What elements should a robust strategy encompass? And what qualities will ensure this process is meaningful for our entire community?
During this event Duncan will provide an update on the key findings of Phase 1 before moving to a panel discussion with Ken, Mark and Mabel who will challenge Duncan on how we can craft a forward-thinking, inclusive strategy.
