Free Headspace Subscriptions Extended to Staff

10 Dec 2024

Free Access to a range of wellbeing support

The University is currently piloting the Headspace app for our student population. It is now extending this pilot to our staff , which provides free access to the app for a limited amount of people. Headspace gives you access to hundreds of guided exercises for meditation, sleep, focus, and movement.

Please note that there are a limited number of subscriptions available, and subscriptions will expire on Thursday, 1 May 2025. These are offered on a first come, first served basis

This subscription offer is part of a pilot project managed by the Students’ Union. As part of managing the project, the SU Advice Service will be able to see who has signed up, but this will remain confidential. The SU are provided with anonymised, collated usage data, which is shared with the University, as they have funded the pilot. The information will be used to gain insights into how many people have used Headspace and for what services (e.g. sleep, anxiety, meditation). Use the link below to sign up for Headspace. This must be done using your University email address to receive the free subscription. If you already have a paid subscription with Headspace that uses your university email address, you will not be able to use this subscription offer.

When you have registered for the subscription, you will have the option to invite up to 5 friends and family who will have access to the full benefits of this subscription (they do not need a University email address to sign up). Please note the expiry date will also be Thursday, 1 May 2025.
