A new resource to support colleague and student wellbeing

02 May 2024

Library and staff wellbeing colleagues have worked together to curate a resource to support key aspects of staff and student wellbeing.

Wellbeing reading book

The Wellbeing Reading List features over 300 titles relating to 48 wellbeing topics including anxiety, bereavement, menopause, relationships, stress, sleep problems, burnout and mindfulness. Titles are available from the Main Library in print and electronically (where possible) – information as to how to access resources is clearly detailed in the list.

This is just the starting point of the collection. If you have any suggestions for wellbeing topics that don’t yet feature on the list please email the Library Acquisitions Team or Staff Wellbeing colleagues using the subject line ‘Wellbeing reading list suggestions’ and your suggested topics will be considered.

The reading list appears near the top of the Staff Wellbeing StaffNet page which also features a list of other resources on how to support your health and wellbeing. We hope that this information may be of help to you or may be helpful while you wait for further support.  Please remember that if you are in crisis or know a colleague who may be feeling this way, there is always support available:
