Join our community of colleagues, students and alumni taking part in this year's Great Manchester 10k run or half marathon on Sunday, 21 May 2023

Sign up to take part in a spectacular running celebration in the heart of Manchester, celebrating 20 years of the Great Manchester Run. The event has always been a celebration of all that is great about Manchester and this year’s landmark 20th event promises to be the most special yet. 

You can join our Purple Wave of runners, created to bring people together to celebrate and enjoy spending time as a community, whilst being physically active. It is not about elite performance, but participating with loads of like-minded people and most importantly, having fun!

What's more, if you choose to register as a Purple Wave fundraiser, supporting Manchester’s cancer research, your ticket will be FREE to you! We’ll provide you with support and guidance to set up a JustGiving fundraising page. Please note some events require you to raise a modest minimum target to access your free place.
