Nominations open for Faculty Committee elections 2024
24 Apr 2024
The Faculty of Humanities has opened nominations for two seats on the Faculty Committee available from 1 September 2024.
Faculty Committee members play a pivotal role in engaging with Faculty leadership and participating in discussions relating to key strategic, policy and resourcing issues.
There is one seat available for academic and research staff from the School of Social Sciences, and one seat is accepting nominations for any professional services colleagues in the Faculty. Both positions will be for a three-year duration.
Candidates should submit their nomination by completing the online form. They should confirm with their nominators that they are happy to support their application before adding their contact details to the form.
The deadline for nominations is Wednesday, 8 May, at 12pm.
In the event that the Faculty receives more nominations than available seats, an online ballot will be held. Details of the ballot will be shared as required.
Further details regarding the role of the Faculty Committee, membership benefits, existing membership, eligibility criteria and responsibilities is available on the Humanities StaffNet Faculty Committee page.
