Key information for Welcome

To help ensure a great student experience, information on how to activate their IT accountregister as a student has been sent out already. Information on applying for accommodation has also been issued.

Using the Welcome website, students will be able to access their online guide and the timetable for their programme. They can access it using the follow instructions:

  • Go to the Welcome website
  • Enter the name of the programme into the course finder and press the ‘Go to subject’ button.
  • Click on the links under ‘Welcome Information’

The Welcome website also provides details about all on-campus events taking place during Welcome, including campus, library and heritage tours. This also includes the various fairs, including societies, sports, the start of the year and others.

Supporting students

Ask Me Ambassadors will be available across campus to advise students throughout Welcome. In addition, an online chat is available and ambassadors will be providing support at airport arrival and residences. Ambassadors will also be helping with directions in the South and North Foyer of the Samuel Alexander building. They will be supported by colleagues from the Student Support and Development team.
