Free training to help researchers find funding and help PS staff who support them

Research Professional is an online database of research funding opportunities and a source of international research policy and practice news. Our subscription provides staff and students with details of thousands of open calls for funding, eligibility criteria and information on how and when to apply.

The webinar will demonstrate the features and functionalities of Research Professional, including logging into the platform, refining funding searches, creating weekly alerts and sharing content.

This webinar is for academics and researchers who want to know how to get the most out of the platform and improve their ability to find suitable funding opportunities.

The webinar will be led by the Research Professional team and take place via Teams. There are two sessions:

• Wednesday 17 January from 2pm – 3pm
• Thursday 1 February from 11am – noon

Colleagues can register with an @manchester.ac.uk email address using the links above. The link to the Teams session will be circulated to colleagues in advance of the webinar.

There is a separate webinar for Professional Services colleagues who are supporting academics and researchers on Wednesday, 24 January (1pm – 2pm).
