Show appreciation for your colleagues

07 Mar 2025

Appreciate colleagues by saying thank you or recognising others via thank-you

Thank you for all that you do. Blue cartoon person with hearts surrounding

Today (Friday, 7 March) is Employee Appreciation Day and it's the perfect opportunity to show our amazing colleagues how much we value them. This special day is all about recognising and celebrating the hard work, dedication, and positive impact our colleagues have on our workplace.

At Purple Place, our reward and benefits platform, we offer a variety of ways to express your gratitude for those you work with. Whether it's a personalised e-card or a thoughtful thank-you voucher there's something for everyone to enjoy.

Send an e-card

A simple yet meaningful gesture to express your thanks. With a selection of new designs, you can personalise your message and share it on our recognition wall or via a private message.

Thank you scheme

If you are a line manager and you think someone or a team has done an exceptional job, you can give a gift worth up to £100. This could be vouchers, flowers, or an extra day off. This needs approval from the Faculty or PS Directorate budget holder.
