New benefit for colleagues - Electric Vehicle Scheme launched

Opportunity to lease an electric vehicle through our reward and benefits platform, Purple Place.
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental sustainability, and in response to colleague feedback, we’re excited to announce the launch of our newest colleague benefit – the University’s first electric vehicle salary sacrifice scheme provided by Tusker.
About the scheme
You can lease a brand new or pre-loved fully electric vehicle through salary sacrifice. There’s no need to pay a deposit, and the scheme includes insurance, maintenance, tyres, MOT, road tax, home charging point and standard installation*, roadside assistance and more.

You will have the opportunity to find out more about the scheme and ask any questions by attending a live webinar hosted by Tusker. If you are unable to attend the event, the session will be recorded, and a link will be made available to this in due course.
Accessing the scheme
- The scheme can be accessed now via our reward and recognition platform Purple Place. You can login to the platform with your usual university login.
- Click in the EV Scheme tile to access the Tusker portal.
- After creating an account you’ll be able to get a quote and access the range of cars available.
