Colleagues are invited to join the academic procession at Summer Graduation 2025, celebrating student achievements and creating a memorable experience. Register attendance and order gowns via the graduation website.
All members of The General Assembly, The Board of Governors, Senate, Emeritus Professors, Residential Life Coordinators, academic and professional services staff are invited to attend our graduation ceremonies and take part in the academic procession.
The ceremonies will take place in-person at Whitworth Hall from Monday, 7 July to Monday, 21 July 2025. We’re already looking forward to welcoming the graduating class of 2025 onto campus to celebrate their success with family and friends.

Graduation is a significant milestone in every student’s life, offering them a moment to reflect on their time at Manchester and celebrate their achievements. By joining the academic procession, you’ll play an important role in creating a truly memorable experience for our students and their families.
How to join the Academic Procession
- View the full ceremony schedule and choose which ceremony you’d like to attend. Please note that ceremony times are subject to change, but we encourage you to register for your preferred option.
- To register your attendance and order your gown, please follow the attached guidance.
- If you have any technical issues or problems logging in, please contact enetsupport@edeandravenscroft.com.
- If you have your own gown, you must still register your attendance and indicate that you will provide your own gown.
- Presenters and tailored speakers must also register their attendance and order gowns.
- There are a maximum of 25 places for each procession (excluding roles such as Presiding Officer, tailored speakers, and presenters). These places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- If you need to update your attendance or details, you can do so any time before the gown hire deadline.
Gown collection and return
- Gown hire is free of charge, provided orders are placed before the deadline.
- Academic dress can be collected from Committee Room E, Whitworth Corridor 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony.
- Please assemble in full academic dress in Committee Room D/E, Whitworth Corridor at least 20 minutes before the ceremony.
- All hired gowns must be returned to Committee Room E on the day of the ceremony. Late returns may result in a charge.
