Your Voice Matters – Purple Place

Purple Place offers national discounts and cashback on retailers which have already saved colleagues over £26,000 since November. In addition to these savings are the UniDiscounts that can save you money on campus and at our cultural institutions. 

Recent additional benefits also include the Currys SmartTech Scheme to spread the cost of items through your pay and a salary sacrifice cycle-to-work scheme to pay for a new bike before tax. 

David also reflects on feedback asking for colleague recognition features to be added, which led to the Social Recognition Wall where colleagues can send e-cards to others at the University. 

Our recent celebrations for Employee Appreciation Day saw over 2,000 e-cards sent in recognition of colleagues across the University.  

Finally, David introduces our new Electric Vehicle Scheme partner Tusker which is a tax-efficient way to lease brand-new and pre-loved cars directly from your salary.
