Cosy Campus spaces relaunch across campus
01 Apr 2025
Our Cosy Campus initiative is relaunching across the University – you can find out more about it at our event on Tuesday, 8 April at 4.00pm in the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons.

The Cosy Campus initiative was created in 2021 response to the rising cost of living. We’ve transformed several spaces across the University to create comfortable and welcoming environments where students and staff can relax, work, and spend time at on campus.
The spaces, depending on where you visit, will include things like hot water for tea, coffee, and meals, microwave stations to heat up your own food, and comfortable seating for group work or leisure time. A full list of Cosy Campus spaces and the facilities available is available in a dedicated information document.
Still got more questions?
Come down and see us on Tuesday, 8 April at 4.00pm in the Alan Gilbert Learning Commons, where we’re holding our relaunch event, and you can get tea, coffee, and cakes.
You can ask questions, find out more, and share feedback if you’ve used the spaces before. If you haven’t used a space before, tell us why – because your voice matters. We're also looking to improve our Cosy Campus spaces, and we’d like to hear from you on what you think we should do.
If you would like to attend, please email unicafe@manchester.ac.uk to let us know. If you’d like to discuss Cosy Campus spaces and suggest any improvements, please email Lexie Baynes – uaofficer.su@manchester.ac.uk.
