National Student Survey (NSS): we need your help

The National Student Survey (NSS) closes next month, and we need your help to boost our response rates, which are currently below target.
The NSS gives all final-year undergraduate students—including international students—the opportunity to share their feedback on their time at Manchester.
Students respond best to encouragement from staff they know and trust. Whether you teach, advise, or support students, your engagement is critical to achieving a high response rate.
If you teach final-year undergraduate students, please remind them to take part. Their feedback is vital - it shapes improvements to assessment and feedback, academic support and learning resources.
How you can help
- Add a 30 second reminder to your next final year lecture, seminar or meeting - slides are available here
- Direct final year students to the NSS portal
- Share examples of how past NSS feedback has driven change in your area
