Book now: Townhall with Professor Duncan Ivison, Manchester 2035 - Phase 2

10 Mar 2025

Your voice matters. Join us on 17 March, 1–2pm and help shape the next phase of Manchester 2035.

Duncan Ivison

All colleagues are invited to our next townhall meeting with Professor Duncan Ivison and subject matter experts from the sprint groups, who helped to shape your ideas from Phase 1 into bold, cross-cutting proposals.

They’ll discuss how we’re moving into Phase 2 of our Manchester 2035 strategy - diving deeper into the foundations, leaps, and emerging proposals that will shape the University’s future.

What to expect

  • Foundations: We'll be reflecting on the importance of having the right foundations in place to strengthen teaching, research, processes, and our staff and student experience.
  • Leaps and proposals: Discover how sprint groups have been exploring your Phase 1 feedback to suggest bold ideas aimed at making a bigger impact.
  • Getting involved in Phase 2: Find out about our upcoming interactive pop-up exhibition and digital Ideas Lab - your chance to explore and refine these proposals.
  • Q&A: Share your questions, feedback, and ideas with Duncan and the panel.

Book your place

  • Book your place by filling out your details on the form. You can choose to register to attend in-person or online.

A calendar invite with the event location and opportunity to pre-submit your question will be sent ahead of the event.

A hybrid option which allows colleagues to ask questions online is available for those who cannot be on campus, but we’d like to encourage you to attend in person if possible.
