Disruption to University Wi-Fi on Sunday 16 February

IT Services need to perform some maintenance on University Wi-Fi on Sunday 16 February between 9am and 9pm.

Throughout this period, Wi-Fi will be intermittently unavailable for up to 15 minutes across all buildings on campus, including halls of residence and other University locations.

Different areas will be affected at different times, however due to the nature of the work, it is not possible to state at exactly which time each area will be affected. Once the work has been completed, Wi-Fi connectivity will be automatically restored. 

This only affects Wi-Fi; wired network connectivity and access to University systems outside the Wi-Fi network will not be affected.

Anyone experiencing issues after the work has completed should contact the IT Support Centre on 0161 306 5544 or Hornet (for Internet access issues specifically in halls of residence).
