Sign up for Wellbeing Choir this term Wednesday, 5 February to Wednesday, 23 April

The Staff and Students Wellbeing Choir is open for bookings for 2025. The next 12-week block will begin Wednesday, 5 February until Wednesday, 23 April.
Singing has been recognised to provide a whole range of health benefits:
It can help build our self-confidence, reduce loneliness, and impact levels of anxiety, “and these all occur alongside things like decreases in blood pressure, decreases in muscle tension, decreases in heart rate, and the activation of reward pathways in the brain - from Michael Mosley’s Just One Thing.
Quotes from choir members
I love taking part in the choir, it is a joyful experience and lifts my mood for the whole day. I’ve never sung in a group before, but this Choir is so welcoming and accepting of everybody.
Christine Turner
It's a welcoming place where I feel uplifted and connected with others through music.
Jane Tedder, School of Health
However busy my schedule is, I always make time for the Wellbeing Choir. I go back to work more motivated and energised – plus it’s a great way to connect with people in very different parts of the University
