180 coats collected by Staff Association for Human Appeal

UMSA says a huge thank you to colleagues who donated coats to the Wrap Up Warm campaign.
The campaign collected unwanted coats for those in need this winter, including the homeless, refugees, domestic violence victims and low-income families.
In total 180 coats were collected by the University’s Staff Association (UMSA), which exceeded last year’s total of 50 coats.
UMSA thanks everyone who generously donated as their contributions are now distributed to those in need across Manchester.
The Human Appeal in 2025
The campaign will return in November 2025 for those who wish to donate again or for the first time, so hold onto any unwanted coats for the next collection.
