Sustainable Aviation Fuel | Garment Designing

On Wednesday, 20 November, 14.00-15.00, Sustainable Futures will be exploring groundbeaking advancements in Sustainable Aviation Fuel and Garment Designing. We are welcoming:

  • Dr Dogushan Kilic, who will present on emissions and the sustainability of aviation fuel, 
  • and Phumza Sokhetye, who will present on establishing methods for creating bespoke jeans reflecting extreme shape categories in women's bodies.

Celebrating Interdisciplinary Sustainability Research

On Thursday, 12 December, 10.00-16.30, Sustainable Futures are celebrating interdisciplinary sustainability research with thought-leaders, innovators, and experts across diverse fields. Engage with pioneering research and explore innovative solutions to our more pressing sustainability challenges.

Albatross Lecture 2025

Sustainable Futures will be featuring renowned environmental scholar Dr Jared Margulies (The University of Alabama) in this upcoming Albatross Lecture 2025. Dr Margulies' work intersects environmental politics, wildlife conservation, and sustainability, making this lecture a must-attend for anyone interested in the future of our planet.
