Resources and Support
Widening the Range of our Digital Resources and Special Collections: We have recently enhanced and expanded our digital archives collections, increasing content across both the sciences and humanities. See our latest update
New Academic Integrity Resource: The Library has recently launched a new online resource on Academic Integrity for Students which sits within the suite of My Learning Essentials support.
Exam and assessment support: The Library is offering exam and assessment support for students for the upcoming exam and assessment period, including workshops, online resources and drop-in support. You can direct your students to our Exam and Assessment support area on the Library website: Exam and Assessment Support. To request Library Support for Assessment to be embedded in BlackBoard please complete our online request form.

Join us for the "Responsible Methods" event, as part of the Opening Up Research programme, on Tuesday, 12 November, from 10am - 12pm at the Schuster Building, featuring talks on ethical, high-quality, and reproducible research practices. Sign up to event
Sign up to our new MRE event: Research Data Conversations: Research Data Conversations is part of a new series of My Research Essentials (MRE) and UoM Data Stewardship community events exploring themes within research data and data stewardship. The sessions will have a collaborative format and explore themes that promote open and FAIR data practices, and the promotion and development of new and emerging ideas in research data.

Read about the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Temple Donation Ceremony: On the 24th September, the Main Library hosted a ceremony for representatives of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist temple, following their generous donation of the English and Mandarin language versions of their Encyclopedia of Buddhist Art. Coming Soon
Open Access (OA) monograph competition 2024/25. Unfunded monograph authors from any University faculty can enter the competition to receive funding to make their monograph OA, as long as they have a monograph in production with a publisher, or have published a monograph on or after 1 October 2023. Entries will need to be submitted via an application form by Friday, 31 January 2025. Please check Library news for more information in the next few weeks.
