Develop your leadership skills with our Mediation Training Course
01 Nov 2024
Sign up for online Mediation Webinar on Tuesday 12 or Thursday 21 November
We are looking for volunteers to join our in-house mediation program at the University, with full accredited training provided.
Are you a good listener, non-judgemental, able to keep calm, and help people see different perspectives? Are you committed to helping colleagues manage their differences constructively to enable long term sustainable working relationships? Then why not volunteer to be a trained mediator?
Mediators play a vital role at the University and help us support staff who may experience issues at work with other colleagues.
Our mediation training program offers colleagues a great opportunity to develop both personal and professional skills. Through the course, you’ll develop effective conflict resolution techniques, improve communication, and gain insight into diverse perspectives. Key skills like active listening and empathetic communication help you connect and build trust with others, while the training’s focus on leadership prepares you to handle challenges within teams more confidently.
