Inspiring Women Leaders: Professor Nancy Rothwell – 10 October, 12pm
It is fitting that the first in our series of Inspiring Women Leaders features our own President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Nancy Rothwell – the first woman to lead our University or either of its two predecessor institutions. Alongside this, Professor Rothwell continues her neuroscience research as well as sitting on a number of high-profile Boards, including the current Chair of the Russell Group. There will be a keynote and facilitated discussion with Nancy - questions can be submitted in advance as well as in the 'room’.

‘Men as allies’: Patrick Hackett and Professor Nalin Thakkar – 20 October, 1pm
Join our Registrar, Secretary and Chief Operating Officer (RSCOO) Patrick Hackett and our Vice-President for Social Responsibility Professor Nalin Thakkar for a practical session focused on what male colleagues can do (and what they shouldn’t do) to promote gender equity. Male allies play a vital part in creating and developing a truly inclusive workplace – and society. In this session, Patrick and Nalin will discuss the important role of male allies at our University.
