Share your views and help shape the new strategy

Dear colleagues,

I am thrilled to be sharing with you the proposed framework for the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy.

This strategy will set out our direction for the next three years and help us deliver the ‘Our people our values’ theme which lies at the heart of Our future.

It will demonstrate how we continue to develop an inclusive place to work and study for all of our University community: our staff, students and the wider Manchester community and beyond. 

I have developed the EDI strategy framework following conversations with members of our University community and this has led to the proposed key areas of focus:  

  • Enhancing an inclusive culture; 
  • Staff entry and progression; 
  • Student entry and progression; 
  • Leadership and staff development. 

This is just a starting point and I encourage you to share your thoughts and feedback via the following survey to help shape this strategy
