There's a variety of help and resources available
If you can walk or cycle to work we are encouraging you to do this. This will help free up public transport for those who really need it and reduce pressure on campus car parks.
A walk of 2km takes 30 mins or 10 mins by bike and can help keep you fit and healthy, reduce stress, improve mental wellbeing and productivity and reduce congestion and pollution.
There is lots of help and support available to get you going:

Cycle parking and facilities
- Find cycle shelters, showers, pumps and maintenance stands on campus
- Get access to secure cycle shelters
From end of September additional secure cycle parking in MECD will open. Contact carparking@manchester.ac.uk to gain access. Limited spaces available.
