The Library has made the decision to move away from using X as a social media platform.
In recent months we have seen a noticeable decrease in engagement with our content and the amount of mis and dis-information now seen on X are the main drivers in this decision.

We are taking this opportunity to explore new channels and have created a Library Bluesky account:
Next steps
In the coming months we will be working to remove our X handle from all digital channels and printed materials and replace with Bluesky.
As we progress with our X-it we will create some guidelines based on our experience. You may find these useful if you are also thinking of leaving X and need some support.
