Open Access for long-form outputs: Application window for UKRI funding now open

Following the announcement of UKRI’s new Open Access policy for long-form outputs (monographs, chapters and edited collections), the application window to request funding is now open.

UKRI is introducing a new Open Access policy for long-form outputs (monographs, chapters and edited collections) which will take effect from the January 2024.

In conjunction with the new policy, UKRI has announced that approximately £3.5 million will be made available to support Open Access for long-form outputs via a national ring-fenced fund.
