Conference Volunteering Knowledge Share

Getting involved with organising sector conferences is a fantastically rewarding experience and is a wonderful opportunity to expand your network and develop your skills by working closely with other Library professionals across the country.

Emma Booth, Ruth Burns and Olivia Rye will be hosting a knowledge sharing session centred around their experiences of volunteering at sector conferences.

This is an opportunity to hear about their experiences of different conference planning teams (CILIP Metadata and Discovery Group, Academic Libraries North and NAG), and to ask any questions or concerns you might have about what volunteering will involve.

The knowledge share will be held at 11am on Wednesday, 11 October 2023, in the Ground Floor Seminar room and is open to all colleagues at any stage of their career.
