Stata SE now available to all Humanities staff and students, on work and personal machines

Stata SE (v.18) statistical and visualisation software is now available to all staff and students in Humanities following the purchase of a five-year site licence.
Stata is a general-purpose statistical software package for data manipulation, visualization, statistics, and automated reporting.
Licences are:
- valid for installation on student and staff personal machines as well as University desktop PCs.
- 12-months duration – valid from (and need to be downloaded annually in) July.
- compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux.
Stata v18. is also being installed in Humanities clusters.
To request a licence:
- First request a unique Reference Number from The University of Manchester via this form.
- Enter your details and unique Reference Number when completing this form and you will be emailed licence download details.
