Winners: Outstanding Staff Awards for Teaching, Learning and Student Experience

The Faculty is delighted to announce the winners of the 2019/20 Outstanding Staff Awards for Teaching, Learning and Student Experience. This is the second year that the student-nominated awards have recognised excellence in the following categories:
- Teaching Award
- Professional Services Award
- UG Dissertation Supervisor Award
- PGT Dissertation Supervisor Award
- Technology Enhanced Learning Award
- Programme of the Year Award
The Faculty received nominations for over 250 members of staff across the six categories. Following the initial shortlisting of the nominations, a panel of academic, professional services and student representatives chose the winners.

Professor Judy Williams, Associate Vice-President and Director of the Institute of Teaching and Learning and a member of the judging panel, said: “I was delighted to be one of the judges for last year’s Outstanding Staff Awards and to read the shortlisted nominations submitted by students. I was hugely impressed by the dedication and commitment of academic and PS staff across the Faculty of Humanities. Many congratulations to all nominees and winners.”

- Luis Alberto Sanchez Corrales, MSc International Development student
