Over 30 Humanities colleagues become Fellows of the Higher Education Academy
04 May 2020
Teaching staff recognised for their expertise.
Following the recent meetings of the Leadership in Education Awards Programme (LEAP) Recognition Panels, 31 colleagues across the Faculty of Humanities have been awarded Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (HEA).
HEA Fellowship is an international recognition of a commitment to professionalism in teaching and learning in higher education and demonstrates that a Fellow’s practice is aligned with the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF).
Professor Claire McGourlay, School of Social Sciences, is a Principal Fellow of the HEA and the Faculty’s LEAP Champion. She said: “We are working hard in Humanities to support and celebrate teaching excellence and this demonstrates just how many excellent PS and academic staff we have across the Faculty. If you are interested in gaining fellowship please visit the LEAP pages on StaffNet for further information.”
