Flexible Learning: Lifelong Learning Portal now live

In support of Flexible Learning, we’ve been making some changes to the way we host online lifelong learning courses.

We know that many members of staff are keen to create more professional development or lifelong learning opportunities – so, following a procurement exercise, we now have a one-stop-shop for lifelong learning, hosted by Blackboard TDM. We’re naming this platform The Lifelong Learning Portal.

The Lifelong Learning Portal is available to any member of staff at the University who wants to host a professional development or lifelong learning course. Since it’s hosted by Blackboard, it’s familiar and simple to use – however there’s also a handy user guide available with step-by-step instructions should you need it.

The platform is available to any prospective learners (whether registered as a student or not), meaning staff can also take advantage of the courses on offer. This portal is also available on smartphone or tablet, for learners on the go.
