EU Settlement Scheme Pilot deadline approaching

You may have seen our recent communications around the Home Office’s EU Settlement Scheme pilot, which has been open since mid-November to non-UK EU citizens and non-EEA relatives of EU citizens working at the University

This pilot will close to applications at midnight on 21 December 2018.

To participate in the pilot, you will need to register by sending a blank email from your own email account to eusettlementpilot@homeoffice.gov.uk. The Home Office will reply to emails on a phased basis and it may take a few days to receive your reply, which will contain a link to the online application form.  Please only send one email, and make sure you check your inbox and junk mail regularly.  

If you need assistance in accessing the Home Office app, which functions on specific Android devices only, you can arrange an appointment to use a suitable device by emailing HRServices@manchester.ac.uk. 

The University has decided to refund the £65 fee for these applications and you can claim for this refund by completing the PR5, Staff Fees Claim Form and submitting a signed hard copy to HR Services along with your proof of payment.  There is no need to complete the code or signature sections.
