Jackie shared the story of her life and career in rhyme
Jackie Carter, Academic Lead for Disability, recently shared the story of the pathway into her career in rhyme at the Women in Higher Education Network 2023 event.
Jackie begins by talking about her childhood, being the first person in her family to go to University then her adult life and career.
Reflecting on the session Jackie said, “I have three grandchildren and love reading stories and poems to them. This inspired me to take a risk and tell my own story in rhyme. It got a great response and I'm delighted I got to share it with so many incredible women. “
