COVID and public health on campus for the new academic year

Advice for illness and getting vaccinated on campus
The new academic year and the promise of colder weather means that we must continue to be vigilant about public health on campus.
Following the changing COVID restrictions in place in the UK on campus we have updated our own protection measures. Further details can be found on StaffNet.
This approach has been endorsed by the Manchester public health team.
If you feel ill
Colleagues with symptoms of respiratory illness, should stay home. If you can continue to work at home you should do so.
Please report any illness in the normal way.
Vaccination on campus
The Manchester vaccination team are on campus today (Thursday 22 September) to vaccinate staff and students eligible for a COVID booster. You can find them by the Whitworth arch. There will also be an information desk provided by the University Occupational Health Service and the University GP Service where you can get advice on any public health issue.
Information for students
We have published health information for students, including how to register with a GP and dentist and vaccination. Answers to other student questions can be found on the Welcome and Induction site.
