10 Jun 2024
If you’ve founded a start-up, spin-out or commercialised intellectual property you are invited to join the University’s newly formed Founders Network
Over the last 30 years, the University of Manchester has founded over 100 spin-out companies, transferring knowledge into products, services and processes to deliver tangible benefits for the economy, society and environment.
Those individuals who have been at the forefront of this pioneering activity are invited to join the newly formed Founders Network.
Aline Miller, Professor of Biomolecular Engineering and Associate Dean for Business Engagement and Innovation, said: “The University of Manchester has a rich legacy and experience of business engagement and intellectual property commercialisation.
“The Founders Network is a new and exciting opportunity for those who are already putting innovation into action to meet and form a community of expertise to support their own and others’ endeavours.”
Get involved
To launch the Founders Network, two informal dinners will be held on 20 June and 25 September. If you would like to join the Network and/or to attend the Founders Dinner register via the Innovation Academy’s SharePoint site.
