Careers Service: March events for students

Annual Spring Careers Fair and themed weeks feature in a busy month to help our students prepare for their futures

The Careers Service is staging a series of events throughout March. Please encourage students and graduates to sign up to attend: 

• Digital Experience Week: Monday 4 - Thursday 7 March, on campus

A week of events catered to students who are wishing to embark on a digital career. The flagship event of this week, the Digital Skills Fair, will take place on Tuesday, 5 March where students can get a LinkedIn profile picture, speak to employers, and more.

• Global Development and Humanitarian Careers Event: Tuesday 5 March, on campus

This session offers students the chance to meet and hear from experts working in the field. It will feature speakers from Save The Children, The HALO Trust and many more.

• Asia Careers Insight Series: Tuesday 5 - Thursday 7 March, online

In collaboration with other UK Universities, this series offers international students the chance to attend several employer-led presentations. Employers from across Asia will feature over the three days from China, Hong Kong and Southeast Asia.

• Manchester Careers Week: Monday 11 - Thursday 14 March, on campus

This week will feature events all catered to students and graduates wishing to begin their career in Manchester. The flagship event of this week, The University of Manchester Opportunities Showcase, will take place on Wednesday, 13 March.

• Spring Careers Fair: Tuesday 12 March, The Academy, Oxford Road

This event gives students the chance to meet and speak to over 45 recruiters offering graduate jobs, placements and internships.
