Staff support

• Wellbeing support for our colleagues is accessible via our Wellbeing StaffNet resources and our Employee Assistance Programme, Health Hero, where you can gain 24/7 access to counselling and support.
• Our Multi Faith Chaplaincy also welcomes people of all faith and none.
• SafeZone is a mobile app designed to help keep you safe and give you extra peace of mind across campuses in the city.

Report and support

• The University’s Report and Support Team or the Students’ Union Advice Centre, have trained advisors ready to provide support if you or someone you know has experienced or witnessed any form of hate or have a safeguarding concern.
• If you would prefer to speak to someone outside of the University, Tell MAMA is an independent organisation that support victims of Islamophobia and anti-Muslim hate and CST is an independent organisation that support victims of antisemitic hatred, harassment or bias.
• As well as our own efforts, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are actively meeting with all Jewish and Muslim centres to offer help and added reassurance. Colleagues can also report any incidents or concerns via the GMP website.
