The relationship between insecure attachment and suicidal ideation in young people: a longitudinal study

We are inviting young people to take part in an online study investigating the relationship between feelings of insecurity in relationships and thoughts about life not being worth living.

What will taking part involve?

  • This study involves three stages: one baseline survey and two follow-up surveys.
  • One baseline survey (30-45 minutes) containing demographic questions and self-report questionnaires.
  • Two similar follow-up surveys (20-30 minutes) containing self-report questionnaires.
  • One month between each survey.
  • Self-report questionnaires focus on your feelings in your relationships, your thoughts about life, self-image, emotional management, and ability to interact with others.

You'll be offered a voucher for your time and inconvenience.

Am I eligible?

  • 18-24 years old
  • Able to complete survey in English
  • Able to complete survey online
  • Able to provide informed consent
