Leaders in Teaching Programme

The Leaders in Teaching Programme supports and develops those involved in or aspiring to teaching and learning leadership positions.

The programme will explore topics such as the development of teams and collaboration, effective communication, awareness and empathy and the ability to respond positively to challenges.

Over the course of six months, the programme offers a combination of:

  • Workshops to meet and work with a cohort of colleagues on topics of direct relevance to teaching and learning leadership
  • The opportunity to inform programme content so it offers what you need
  • Individual or group fieldwork between sessions to help you apply your learning and get the most out of the sessions
  • Online learning space (delivered through Teams) enabling you to access workshop resources and to discuss key topics from the sessions with your peers
  • Support and challenge from your peers, as well as from external and internal facilitators

Programme structure

The dates and times of the workshop sessions for the 2022 Leaders in Teaching programme are included below. There will be a mixture of online and in-person workshops. Please note that the programme content and order of workshops is flexible and may change depending on discussions during the first session to ensure that the programme meets the needs of the cohort.
