Masters in Public Health Team (School of Health Sciences. Leader: Arparna Verma)
Through strong interdisciplinary practice and a determined focus on the support and development of their staff, the MPH team continues to go from strength to strength in its provision of high-class education to their students.
The Masters in Public Health (MPH) Team, led by Professor Arpana Verma, has put a strong emphasis on the self development of their own staff, and supported a number of their members into various fellowships and doctoral studies across the institution, including collaborations with The University's Institute of Teaching and Learning (ITL). They have also worked to build connections to other faculties within the division, which has broadened the scope of their teaching and pedagogical activities; an approach that has resulted in widespread recognition of their activities both from students and external examiner feedback. The course itself has also benefitted greatly from their collaboration with students, which has maintained the high quality of the teaching experience the MPH team delivers.
