GLAM are a cross- institutional, multidisciplinary team who provide clinical training to undergraduate and postgraduate students, and CPD to healthcare professionals and our audits and published work influences NHS commissioners nationwide.

The Glaucoma Learning at Manchester (GLAM) team is a multidisciplinary cross-institutional team which has been transforming Glaucoma education since 2018. Our ambition to prevent unnecessary blindness and health inequalities, intersecting with our passion for optometric education: we put students at the centre of their lifelong learning and patients at the centre of their care. Our shared vision of excellence is achieved by combining the evidence-based practice of clinical experts with sound pedagogy, such as authentic assessment and service/active learning
