This team’s submission detailed how their programme has a large cohort (655 participants during 20/21) but still manages to be nurturing and inclusive. The programme has a demonstrable impact on the delivery of care services, shown by the number of participants who report receiving a promotion whilst studying in the programme (52%) with 89% of those participants believing the programme contributed to this promotion. The team showed they are constantly updating their programme based on participant feedback so it remains responsive to participant and healthcare needs. Due to COVID-19 the team switched to an online delivery which was positively received by their participants. For this team equality, diversity and inclusion is a ‘golden thread’ of their entire programme with a diverse range of tutors adding strength to the knowledge and delivery of the programme.
