Use of published and copyrighted materials
In the course of your teaching you will probably want to reproduce materials that have been published in one form or another - as printed books or journals, as electronic journals or web pages, or as radio/television broadcasts. Most of these materials are protected by the law of copyright and the University holds several licences that allow copies to be made under certain conditions.
It is important to remember that copying outside the terms of these licences is an offence and may render the University liable to legal action.
