Postgraduate taught students normally take between 2 and 4 unit (60 credits) in a semester, depending on the programme structures. Therefore, monitoring the receipt of coursework offers a different number of opportunities for a School to be assured that a student is engaging with their programme of study.
In addition to these core contact points, opportunities to monitor students’ engagement with their programme will exist through programme specific activities as well as via any mechanisms that a School may employ to monitor and record attendance at scheduled teaching and learning activities.
