Adoption leave

Students who are adopting a child may apply to interrupt their studies for a maximum 12 month period, subject to approval from the relevant School or Faculty. The period of leave must be taken in one consecutive block.

Applying for adoption leave

Students should contact their relevant School/programme office as soon as possible to discuss arrangements and make an application for adoption leave using:
