Senate: Academic Governance and Academic Assurance
Senate, subject to the authority of the Board of Governors, acts as the University’s principal academic authority. Senate is responsible to the Board for the promotion of research, the regulation and monitoring of standards in teaching, and the regulation of discipline of students of the University.
Senate has discharged its responsibilities in respect of academic governance and academic assurance by approving the following major items.
