Pitch an article to The University of Manchester Magazine
The University of Manchester’s alumni magazine is an annual printed (and digital) publication created to celebrate and share the inspiring work of our students, staff and alumni. Bringing together Manchester stories from across the globe, we feature a collection of engaging and informative features, interviews and opinion pieces linked to our University’s vision and strategic plan, Our future.
As we mark the University’s 200th year, the ‘then, now and next’ bicentenary special edition reflects on our achievements are learnings from the past, celebrates what we are doing now and looks to our aspirations for the future. It features the people, from students to staff, alumni, and our wider community, who have contributed to 200 years of learning, innovation and research.

Target audience
Our audiences are key external stakeholders, such as national and regional policymakers, regional policymakers, research funders, international agencies and partners, media, alumni, donors and members of the business, education, health and culture sectors.
The print version of the magazine is sent to a list of key and influential stakeholders in these areas, and is also available on campus for staff, students and visitors.
